Until 10 October 2026 the app button opens a stand-in address, hauora-hub-app.netlify.app, because school filters block hauora-hub.nz as a new domain until then. Same app; the permanent address is app.hauora-hub.nz/try.

The lesson

Is it fake to act differently around different people? Students widen what counts as a relationship, notice that they act differently with whānau, mates and coaches, and argue about when adapting becomes a problem. It opens Unit 1, Relationships and Communication.

Every lesson runs the same way: Aims, Hook, Numeracy, Learn, two group tasks, Your mahi, Check. Sixty minutes.

In the download

  • The 16-slide deck as PowerPoint and PDF
  • Three pages of teacher notes: the 60-minute flow, activity briefs, safety notes and answers
